Happy Birthday, George

On this day, June 25th, in 1903, George Orwell was born.
Check out the little red light next to your webcam. Is it still working?

Takin' Care of Business

I started a new story last night, here is the opening paragraph;
When the Pope sauntered out from the wings, smiling and waving, and then touched rings with Elvis Presley while Santa Claus and Superman looked on from the stage lined with dancing cheerleaders, it was more than Hank could stand. The audience erupted in wild applause, but they were a bunch of Barfs and lickfrogs, so he expected little else.
I can hardly wait to see where this thing goes from here...

Neil Gaiman is a Wise Man

Aside from writing stories so brilliant that they make me want to smash my keyboard, he also has opinions I can agree with.
Apparently, he thinks it is important that stories tell a story.
Hardly groundbraking, I know, but it had to be said.
Here's a link.

Static Movement Picks Up A Lame Goat?

Seems Lame Goat Press has gone by the boards...
The good news is that Static Movement has picked up the pending projects for the Goat and is going ahead with By Mind or Metal. (That's the cover art you were coveting.)
Judging by the Table of Contents, should be a good read.

Daily Flash Cover Art- Here it is...

Here's the cover art for Pill Hill's Daily Flash 2011. 365 days of high octane premium grade flash fiction, a story for every day of the year.
Two of my stories (Independence Day and First Do No Harm) are included, and judging by some of the names in the table of contents, this should be a nifty book.
I know what you're getting for Christmas.
